The simplest Christian can know that the resurrection of Jesus is an historical fact by the testimony of the Holy Spirit in his heart.
—William Lane Craig, in the Son Rises
Imagine debating someone on the historicity of any other alleged event in history and having him or her tell you: I don’t care what evidence you present for your position, a spirit tells me that my position on the issue is the correct position.
How can you debate someone with such a bizarre bias?
This is why it is a waste of time to debate conservative Christians on the historical evidence for the alleged reanimation of the corpse of Jesus of Nazareth. No matter what evidence you present, it will never be enough. The imaginary ghost inside their head will always tell them that the evidence is wrong.
In order to win a debate with conservative Christians, we must first dispel their belief in ghosts (spirits). How do you do that???
