Look, if we are going to count sightings of dead people as signs from God, I rather like this Australian comedian. He claims to have seen many dead people, including his dear auntie and mummie:

Escaping Christian Fundamentalism 
The comedian says he saw his deceased mother in normal corporal form, but says that his dearly departed auntie was “ghostly” in appearance. Christian readers will likely complain that the disciples never claimed that Jesus was “ghostly”. But I object. In several of the appearance stories in the Gospels some of the disciples do not recognize Jesus. This tells me that whatever the disciples saw it was not a normal human body, so, “ghostly” may well describe what some of the disciples at least thought they saw!
