William Lane Craig tells another Whopper

“Virtually all New Testament critics acknowledge that the event [the appearance to Peter] really happened.”  —William Lane Craig, The Son Rises, p. 92

Gary:  Why does Craig do this?  Why does he repeatedly exaggerate (lie about?) the strength of the Christian evidence?  This is a blatantly false statement.  Now, to his credit, near the end of the page, WLC modifies this statement and says this:

“At the very least, we must say that Peter experienced something, which he referred to as Jesus’ appearing to him.  It is futile to try to dismiss this as legend.  The question is, What did Peter see?

Gary:  Why didn’t you just say that in the first place, WLC???
