Jesus was a False Messiah…and Jews have the Proof

Copied from:  The Superstitious Naked Ape

Dear Rabbi, Why don’t Jews believe in Jesus? Doesn’t it say in the Psalms, “They pierced my hands and feet”? Doesn’t Isaiah say, “Behold a virgin shall give birth”?

  1. Scriptural References

In order to understand anything in the Torah one must look at the original Hebrew. You will see that the Christians distorted, changed and misinterpreted many of the Hebrew words in order to fit things into their beliefs. The two places that you mentioned are good examples. In Psalm 22:17 the Hebrew states “hikifuni ca’ari yaday veraglay” which means “they bound me (hikifunilike a lion (ca-like ari-lion), my hands (yadayand my feet (ve-and raglay-my feet). The Christians translate this as “they pierced my hands and feet“. Nowhere in the entire Torah, Prophets and Writings do the words ca’ari or hikifuny mean anything remotely resembling “pierce“.
In Isaiah 7:14 the Hebrew states “hinei ha’almah harah veyoledet ben” “behold (hineih) the young woman (ha – the almah- young woman) is pregnant (harah) and shall give birth (ve-and yoledet-shall give birth) to a son (ben)“. The Christians translate this as “behold a virgin shall give birth.” They have made two mistakes (probably deliberate) in the one verse. They mistranslate “ha” as “a” instead of “the“. They mistranslate “almah” as “virgin“, when in fact the Hebrew word for virgin is “betulah”. Aside from the fact that if you read the context of that prediction you will see clearly that it is predicting an event that was supposed to happen and be seen by king Achaz who lived 700 years before Jesus!

  1. Genealogy

He was not descended from the House of David. According to Jewish law, tribal identification comes from the father’s side, being Jewish, from the mother’s side. According to Matthew 1, Joseph was descended from David (Although there are many contradictions between his genealogy there and that listed in Luke, however according to the same text, Joseph did not have sexual relations with Mary, therefore Jesus was not related to Joseph, and not a descendant of King David.

Three answers to this problem are given in classic Christian sources:

  1. The genealogy is that of Mary – This is inadequate, since if he is claimed to be the Jewish messiah, and according to Jewish tradition he must be descended on his father’s side, Mary’s genealogy is irrelevant.
  2. He was adopted by Joseph -According to Jewish law, adoption does not change the status of the child. If an Israelite is adopted by a Cohen, (A descendant of Aaron the High Priest), the child does not become a Cohen, likewise if a descendant of David, adopts someone who is not, he does not become of the tribe of Judah and a descendant of David.
  3. It doesn’t matter, he was a spiritual inheritor of King David – If it doesn’t matter, why do Christian scriptures spend time establishing his genealogical pedigree? And if he is claimed to be the Jewish messiah, then according to Jewish tradition it does matter!
  1. Messianic Predictions

The main predictions concerning the Messiah are that he will bring peace to the world, gather the Jewish people from their exile to the land of Israel and rebuild the Temple in Jerusalem. After Jesus’ appearance, the Temple was destroyed, the Jews were exiled all over the world and we have not even had one day of peace in the past 2,000 years. (Many of the wars in fact were started and fought by followers of Jesus) These events are enough to show that he was not the messiah.

The main Christian responses to these objections are:

  1. The Second Coming – First of all, we find this to be a contrived answer, since there is no mention of a second coming in the Jewish Bible. Second, why couldn’t G-d accomplish His goals the first time round. Most importantly, the second coming idea is just an attempt at answering an obvious question but it certainly does not constitute proof of messianic claims.
  2. There is peace within his followers hearts – That is wonderful for them, but does that help the victims of the Inquisition, the Crusades, the Hundred Years War, the First World War, the Second World War etc. In each of the events that I mentioned most if not all the combatants, the violent oppressors and torturers where people who claimed to be followers of Jesus. And is peace in the heart a fulfillment of “swords into plowshares etc.”
  1. Messiah’s Qualifications

Messiah is a prophet, a scholar and a pious king. Jesus made a prediction that “The time is fulfilled, the kingdom of God is at hand.” (Mark 1:15) That was 2000 years ago, has the kingdom of God come? Do you call the holocaust, Pol Pot and Stalin a world in which the kingdom of God has come? Jesus was not a great scholar – one of the requirements of the Messiah. Was Jesus a king? He was not anointed as king by a prophet (as was the rule in Jewish kings), he was not appointed by any judicial body as a leader and he did not rule over the Jewish people nor was he accepted by them. He was arrested, tortured and killed by the Romans like a common criminal. He had no army or government.

The answer to my question is an obvious, “no.”

  1. The Trinity

The Christian idea of a trinity contradicts the most basic tenet of Judaism – that G-d is One. Jews have declared their belief in a single unified G-d twice daily ever since the giving of the Torah at Sinai – almost two thousand years before Christianity.

The trinity suggests a three part deity: The Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost (Matthew 28:19).
In Jewish law, worship of a three-part god is considered idolatry; one of the three cardinal sins for which a person should rather give up his life than transgress. The idea of the trinity is absolutely incompatible with Judaism.

  1. If Yeshua is not Messiah than the OT is dead in the water because it prophecied Messiah should of been here already before the destruction of the 2nd Temple! And you're going to have to produce a better known Jew that has brought more Gentiles to know the Scriptures than Jesus of Nazareth. Hmmmm billions upon billions is going to be a hard feat to beat, especially when the Bible said He was suppose to be here 2000 years ago…good luck

    Good Day Sir,
Christian with the Light from YHWH

  2. Thank you for this enlightening information.

I believe Christianity was created by the Roman Emperor Constabtine and his sidekick Eusebius as a political instrument of control.
It is interesting to note the similarities between the NT and the geography described in Josephus' War of the Jews, and it seems pretty obvious that whoever wrote the NT had no first-hand knowledge of Judea, and minimal knowledge of Jewish culture – I find it absurd for instance that when Jesus exercised the demons from the demoniac at Gadara the demons fled into a “herd of swine” – what on earth would a herd of unclean pigs be doing in a Jewsih town?

Also interesting to note that there never was a town called “Nazarerh” until the 12th century, when the crusaders created one because they were mystified by its non-existence.

The whole fairy story was obviously fabricated and tailored to correspond with the prophecies of another religion, yet the creators of Chrisrianity didn't have enough specialist knowledge to create a myth that would stand up to scrutiny, hence the stress on “faith”.

Tellingly there is zero primary source evidence for a real “Jesus” – and it is extremely curious that neither Phio nor Jospehus make any mention of “Jesus of Nazareth” (part from the laughably brief and transparently fake passage known as the Testimonium) and not do any other contemporary sources.
IF Jesus had actually existed and done the things he is alleged to have done, there should be at least as much evidence for his existence as there is for Apolloniis of Tyana, who lived at the same time, is said to have performed “miracles” and was apparently widely respected.

Christianity is a ridiculous piece of plagiarised nonsense which was imposed on the Roman Empire from the top down – and it became instantly popular because membership brought tax concessions, wealth, political influence, and the right to travel for free on the imperial post service.
Emperor Julian (“the Apostate”) whose family was murdered by the sons of Constantine, and who was indoctrinated as a Christian – before rejecting the absurd doctrine in favour of Hellenism – writes damningly of the incentives offered by Constantine and his government to win converts to the new state religion, and says that it attracted the lowest and most base criminals, who used the perks to enrich themselves.
There was apparently a trend where old ladies were regularly conned into leaving their estates to the newly ordained deacons and bishops on the promise that so doing would ensure their entry to heaven!

And of course a religion that promoted obedience to an absolute monarch and encouraged payment of taxes was destined to become popular among the barbarian kings, who converted willingly in order to rule “dei gratia”.

And let us not forget that early Christianity was a lot like the Taliban or Daesh in its fanaticism and intolerance and that it was the Christians who destroyed the Great Library and Museion of Alexandria – plunging the world into the dark ages.

Christianity is an abomination and the sooner it fades into obscurity, the better.

  3. Bravo! Bravo, Clap clap…You suceed well… Damnation is nigh. Make one thing Master Jesus taught that was not worthy of learning….It must be better to crucify innocent people and let the world annihilate itself for power, wrath, and rebelion against God! God sent many men to teach Godly wisdom to the word..All were afflicted and killed or scorned..Jesus came to save a broken world..His wisdom and knowledge outstreched the blasphemous Judaism and the jews live in agony because they have rejected the savior…That's what have birth to Hitler and all other oppressors. Think of it like this….If you told your dad to f### off, didn't listen to him…And then proceeded to nail him to a cross and kill him for telling you to do right….Would God not then punish you????Not only this, but spiritually there is a transformation when someone is saved. . We need God's aid to see the truth…But if we do not accept him, we will be held accountable because he is the creator not us…He is the boss and he is what Governs all things… Rejecting him is pointless because to him you are a small wicked thing and like Satan, you are dammed unless you repent.. That is God's rules and if you don't like them then live a reprebent, abomination life and walk through the valley of death with no shield. .. When you die, your soul will awaken in torment and you will be judged according to your transgressions against the Lord..You will then know that your life was only givin as the mercies of our Good Lord permitted..And you were loved all the days of your life..It is never too late to pray in the name of Jesus to be saved. Amen

  4. Always remember Satan has blinded us from birth.. All the Walt Disney and all of the Self Godhood projection was formed to blind you…Tv, Lust, Entertainment it's all full of subliminal messaging and designed to block out our knowledge of God..So when you doubt, ask God himself to lead you to him…Ask him in prayer.. Don't mock something you don't understand.. If you have questions, ask a bible or follower of a Christian Church.. Never turn to the world to find the truth because the bible says we are all sinners and Satan is its father.

  5. If your belief system is correct, I will burn forever in Hell.

    But maybe you are wrong.

Maybe the Muslims are correct, and both YOU and I are wrong and will both burn in the Muslim hell for all eternity. How many minutes of sleep have you lost, Michael, worrying that Muslims may be right and that you are going to burn forever in the Muslim hell?

  6. At the top of the page, you said- superstitions that cause sane, decent people to hate and commit violence all in the name of their “inerrant” holy books. If someone truly loves Jesus and he is their Saviour and Lord, they can't hate others and they will never commit violence against them (though a lot of people CLAIMING to be Christians have done that) because Jesus taught that we must love our enemies and do good to those that hate us and pray for those that despitefully use us. Jesus loved the world so much (including those that hated him) that he died for them. If someone is murdering in the name of Jesus, then he isn't following Jesus, any more than someone claiming to be a vegetarian can sit in McDonalds all day lone eating beefburgers- clearly their claim is false.

  7. as usual, they killed all the prophets , nothing is new, they always rejected the truth , i will believe in Jesus as Messiah , if he was a false Messiah, why in the world his disciple will go to death for his sake, after the crucifixion they all scattered and afraid until he appeared to them showed them his wounds in his hands..they all were killed except John ..they were simple people and has no power but their faith made them strong to go to death for his sake, and paul the one that persecuted the church and killed christians himself , what power really made this zealot to his religion to change over night ? besides , there is a lot of pagan historians from greece and rome that wrote about the day that jesus was crucified and the facts about the the minute jesus died on the cross ,there was earthquick and there was a full eclipse of the sun…and these were not christian that wrote these facts …there is a lot of evidence if you really search…even history books not religion one …if i have to give you names of historians (pagan Historians ) i will need a big space here to give you everything ……Jesus is the Messiah…by the way there was a pharisee well respected by all in Sanhedrin said something very logical when disciples of Jesus were arrested , he said and i quote(Men of Israel, consider carefully what you intend to do to these men. 36 Some time ago Theudas appeared, claiming to be somebody, and about four hundred men rallied to him. He was killed, all his followers were dispersed, and it all came to nothing. 37 After him, Judas the Galilean appeared in the days of the census and led a band of people in revolt. He too was killed, and all his followers were scattered. 38 Therefore, in the present case I advise you: Leave these men alone! Let them go! For if their purpose or activity is of human origin, it will fail. 39 But if it is from God, you will not be able to stop these men; you will only find yourselves fighting against God.”….
in this case i see the Christianity is spreading day after day….people come to Christ in unbelievable numbers….yes i believe Jesus is the Messiah
